12+ alone isn't a demo. 12-18, 18-34, 25-54 are demo's. Then you can split it up for men and women. That's how sales are based. Every station aims for a certain demo. There are many stations that don't do well 12+. But in their target demo are at or near the top. They can actually bill more than stations ranked above them 12+.
