: Judging from the link on the previous post, it's very good country (the likes of Delbert McClinton, Lyle Lovett, etc.). Very good sound, with a bit of an edge... nothing like the processed cheese you hear on Y100. (These are artists that I hear on progressive station Triple M here in Madison.) If Cumulus goes this route with WPCK, I think it will be a very daring move; it will definitely set the station apart from Y100 and the other rimshot country signals in Northeast Wisconsin.
I think it would definately be a good move, that link is just an example, IF they go that route it may be different, Alt. Cty. is just on of the possibilities, though WPCK will stay Country of some sort most likely.
